Summer of Sevice

I am so grateful for the opportunities that we have had this summer to focus on service as a family. It has helped because Sophie has been working on her bee for young womens so we have been looking for ways to help her get her hours. Thankfully Xandi's work has given us many of those experiences and I know my family has been blessed for doing so. We have been able to help with a couple of school transformations in the past where we get to help makeover a school that is in an area that doesn't have too much support from the surrounding community, and try to make it better for the children that attend. We have spent family night volunteering at the food bank, sorting food and having fun. We have gotten dirty and stinky and covered in paint, and we have lost ourselves in trying to make others lives better and I am so grateful. 
We are so blessed as a family and as individuals with the lives we have been given and nothing reminds you of that faster than helping those less fortunate that yourself.
