Labor Day Jaunt to Flaming Gorge

The kids have been looking forward to this trip for weeks! Me, yes and no. I love the gorge, but this particular trip was gong to be another "first" that I knew was going to be a little hard. This, after all, is something that we have always done with g&g Bass. I am sure I got caught looking around because I knew someone (or two) was missing and I couldn't help but feel that the entire time we were up there. I was so grateful for all the sweet and funny reminders of my mom and dad that still linger there at our spot and I am so grateful that the whole Bass Bunch could be together. I love them all so much!

All packed and ready to roll. Even Mini got to tag along!

Staking out our spot at the increasingly popular Manila Days parade! We could almost hear grandpa hurrying us along in the morning so we could get there on time, and the entertainment was everything that we imagined!

Gavin with grandpa Jackson's boat. The boat of my childhood.

This boy loves his momma!

 Heading up to the mountains
We done saw us a black bear thanks to Sophie and her ability to find the wildlife. I can point it out if you need me to.

And a flock of turkeys!

And we even saw the coolest Osprey pluck a fish out of Browne Lake and take it to the tree tops for dinner! This photo is NOT the Osprey, but my good looking man :)
We also couldn't complete the trip without a trip to The Merch for some ice cream! Can you see me in the window? I am a babe and my caramel cashew was delightful!
