Tonight the kids were able to attend and AWESOME fireside! Alex Boye came to speak to the youth in our stake and he was pretty impressive and made quite an impression on my kids. AND he thought Sophie's shoes were cool!

 

Thanks to an awesome young women's leader that took great note, here are the high-lights...

* No obstacle is too great, no blessing too small.
*We become what we think about most.
*When we set an expectation for ourselves and take it to the Lord, it will happen. When we do that, we are CREATING our world. Like it says in 2 Nephi 24:24, we are capable of creating our own world. Everything does happen for a reason.
*Miracles only happen on absolute faith. When we start to doubt our faith, miracles will cease. (Matthew 14:22-33) Peter was in the midst of a miracle and he let fear (negativity-doubt) creep in and the miracle ceased.
*The only limitations YOU have are the ones YOU put on yourself.
*Words are POWERFUL. Be careful what you say to others and especially YOURSELF.
*The youth today are a chosen generation..hand-picked for the Latter-Days. What are YOU going to do with your time? Spend it wisely on the things and people that matter.
*There is negativity EVERYWHERE. If you want to find negative things about the church...you will find them. If you want to find negative things about your friends, spouse, children, self....you will find them. WHAT YOU LOOK FOR...YOU WILL FIND. LOOK FOR THE POSITIVE.
*Our Savior loves each and every one of us. Nobody is trash. He personally suffered for each of us. The INTENSITY of the suffering the Savior went through would have been the same even if there was only ONE person on Earth.
