He'll always be my little boy...

My cute birthday boy is just waking up in Germany tomorrow on his birthday and I haven't even gone to bed yet today! It's so hard some days to be so far apart and not be able to talk. This cute firstborn son of mine made me a mother nineteen years ago. In some ways it still feels like it was yesterday. I has been my pleasure to be a part of his life and to get to be called his mother. He has made me nothing but utterly proud. He is such an amazing young man and I love him to pieces! Time flies when you're having fun!

Our Family Gains A Missionary!

What an awesome night our family shared and what an incredibly spiritual experience to hear the words that were spoken as Gavin was set apart to be a full time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am so grateful for the special witness and comfort that I received as tender words were spoken and I knew for sure that Gavin had made the right choice to serve his Father in Heaven. I am so grateful for his sweet example to his younger siblings of selfless service and putting the most important things first. I love being a missionary mom! Here's to many reports of grand adventures to come as he reports to the MTC tomorrow and is scheduled to depart for Germany on October 29th.

Priest High Adventure

A chilled out version of last years high adventure because not one person almost died!
Lava Hot Springs, camping, water basketball, running the river, Paris Tabernacle, and Bear Lake. Great relaxing fun in the sun!
Here are the completely random order of pics and I have no idea how to caption them but you'll get the idea that they were a bunch of guys having an adventure...
